Hot Rock at Airlie Beach Restaurants

Hot rock dinning is an interactive personal cooking experience and is now available in Airlie Beach Restaurants. The volcanic stones are heated in a special oven for minimum of 10 hours in extreme heat.  They are then placed into specially designed stoneware plates and delivered to you. Your choice of main course is then placed on the hot rock where it is sealed and then cooked, by you, at your table, to your liking. Locking in the nutrients & natural juices, this is also an extremely healthy way of cooking as no oil is used in the process. Just sit back and enjoy this unique dining experience. Or if you wish, our chefs can cook the meal for you!
